Very sorry to hear that some good Reps were layed off on the West Coast. Really sad. Good people.

Why are they letting the proven veterans go. Is 50k savings worth the mega biz that is lost?

Mostly corporate folks, but some divisional leadership as well. They've also begun pushing out people in the field with tenure.

Please, oh please just get rid of the useless and aged divisional directors! Absolute embarrassment trying to explain that's not my na-na or pop-pop or a beached whale I am trying to save from the shore. References to murder she wrote and Matlock just go right over the customers heads. The reek of overweight, alcoholic, used up sales and operations managers has had its day.

Let's just have our entire employment force have to retire at 50.

Save one or two 50+ employees to photograph for company promotional materials.

Little do you young punks realize that it takes an incredible amount of knowledge and great customer relationships built over time to continuously be successful in this business. The type of knowledge required is acquired over time by handling all the issues that come up in a complex business model like UHS's. On the other hand your youth and vitality is necessary due to the 24/7 nature of the business. If there ever was a time when us "over 50" employees are needed for the success of UHS it is now. Now please ask your momma to wipe your nose again...and while she is at it your ass probably needs to be wiped again too
