It's called poor management. This is not a new revelation and it's been going on since the Inception of the company back with RB. I know exactly where you're going with this. First of all, failed? As in past tense. Failed, after one month on the market. Good to see you can predict the future. This is the first viable extended release option. Probuphine failed bc no one wanted to do a procedure/implant and give a patient 6 months of bupe at once. And it had shit promotion from a tiny ass company.
Yes, there are docs that use bupe as a cash cow. But there are plenty that will use Sublocade as a better option. The market won't be as big. It won't ever be as big as Suboxone was, but it does have a place, and it will be profitable. Not everywhere is Appalachia where it's all bupe mills, partner. Some doctors actually do treat patients properly. I'm sorry your cynicism has gotten the best of you.
