Remember back in the 80s where 1 rep per territory worked well. The only overlay was a specialty rep for certain specialists. Problem occurred when marketing and lawyers started running the company vs sales calling the shots

Skippy, I forgot more than you’ll ever know. It’s worthless turds like you that ruined pharma.

And don’t ignore the fact that more biotechs fail than succeed. Most who are successful are bought out bybig....soon to be small.....Pharma.

That is if you are going for homerun millions w startups. If you want make millions over 10 yrs then more establish biotechs & small companies like Genentech, Novo, Gilead, Abbvie, Genzyme, Seattle Oncolog . Biogen & companies like this more establish are millionaire makers over 10yrs not homrun millionaires like startups w higher risk quicker reward.

Wow. Nice to the primary care set knows not of what they speak. Genentech is Roche (Big Pharma) that buyout happened in 2013, so no one is getting rich on options there, Genzyme is Sanofi which is big Pharma, and barely gives equity so not getting rich there, Gilead’s stock split 4 times back in the early 2000’s now the stock is super stable and they also do not give a lot of equity. Also they are close to a $100B market so big biotech/big Pharma. Abbvie is a $165B market cap, Novo Nordisk is $120B...both big pharma’s not biotechs. SeaGen’s stock has done nothing and Biogen’s ship sailed 10 years ago.

You are either very young or very new or both, to this business as you don’t even know the difference between small/mid sized biotechs and big Pharma and what companies already got bought out.

You also failed to list any of the biotech’s who have been bought out in the last 5 to 10 years. Contrary to the narrative on the board by some and by the big Pharma scare tactics most small biotechs who commercialize and launch a drug have been successful. The ones who fail typically fail well before building out a commercial team and sales force. Man they have you mainlining the Pfizer Kool Aid with this stuff.

Wow, just wow. You really are embarrassing.

Obvious you are a Pfizer lifer mignon.
BIG PHARMA- Pfizer, Merck, GSK, BMS, AZ, Lilly, J&J,
The others you reference are mid size pharma & if you think Genentech Novo Gilead Biogen are big pharma with only 100mil valuation then you are not too bright (the 7 mention Big Pharma above can buy these 100mil co out with cash deal)
Sorry your lifer who is stuck w Pfizer regretting not making more more than 200k in your career w a frozen do for nothing pension while others are making 300k yr and 50-100 full RSU stock a year.
Enjoy you average life looking up stock valuations on stock you cant afford to buy & trying to correct people. Dont hate on others making millions & your old self left to ponder what if I actually had some balls in my career.
Nothing wrong w being average buddy. 80% are.

Agree that dude is old fart who probably a lifer that has nothing better to do but shoot down people who could buy his net worth out with a check. He living a modest life wondering what if & jealous of those who have accumulated millions in Biotech stock over 10yrs while he dreaming all these years instead of acting.
He the one who should be embarrassed for pissing away more than 5yrs in big pharma.
Ignore him as those types are dime a dozen at Pfizer who know no better because they never experienced anything outside of big pharma.
(Guys like that we use to kick to curb, spend in a weekend more than they make in a month, take their girlfriends, hand our benjamins to valet our cars on their weekend gigs, and then hire them for misc work when they are laid off -- good riddance to him & people like him as they never get ahead in life)

There are people who enjoy the ride then are smart enough to know when to exit the car & others like you who are blind & uneducated living on hope that stays in the car until it runs our of gas or crashes burning into flames.
Enjoy the fire extinguishers & the burn unit bro!

    LMFAO
Dont which one of you morons posted what, but you both are wrong.
1st Genentech is #1 company in revenue looking at all global business units. **market cap far lower than Pfizer.
BMS is large if you take all business units & subsidiaries.
Bottom line, both are wrong & whichever of you put that FAKE list top 20 must really be desperate for attention. Go back to you average 200k yr life and be happy you have at least that while some of us pay that much in quarterly taxes & give millions back to society from several fortunate biotechs and start ups.
(That said 3yrs w Pfizer broke me into the industry so nothing bad on my end w Pfizer as they gave me my start & relationships w people who went on to be CEOs &Presidents & VC of various smaller companies that made me tens of millions over 20 yrs to basically retire at 45 and have my own Biotech VC company

You all are so funny debating & bickering over misc BS when others are trying to make millions to improve this world & make a better place for children, the homeless, and the less fortunate.
Both of you old timers need to grow up!
    ****Genentech at the top-- LMFAO

Don’t throw legitimate facts at these people. Their heads will explode. The dumbass didn’t realize Genetech got bought by Roche and how much revenue Roche creates. These people have no clue. Thanks for proving them wrong...again.

Your a comedian or on Trump's staff.
20yr rep save 4mil.LOL LOL LOL
Even if high paying rep 150k, thats 80k after tax , if you save 100% in 20yrs thats only 1.6m with compounding you might hit 4mil.
So if dont have a life or family & live in a RV and eat at food shelter so you can save 100% of your net paycheck
