If your quality of life is good, and your not running in the "must impress others with expensive status symbols" crowd, then just look at your earnings, do a bit of financial planning, and live within your means. You'll be fine, and happy, which a lot of these folks who have posted who seem to feel that anyone making under $200 is a loser, will never be. They'll always be short of someone else they know in regard to wealth, and it's like sulfuric acid to their ego. Not their fault entirely, it's a modern sickness. They thrive on shadenfreude.
Do what makes sense for you and your family. Period.

Pfizer is a good solid living in 70% of the US.
You will not get rich with Pfizer but will have a comfortable life & support your family in most of the country.
If you want wealth then you need to roll dice with higher risk/higher reward company, or invest in businesses on the side like a Pappa Johns, Subway, Pub, used car lot, harley dealership or like a couple of Pfizer reps in the South- a McDonalds (via a US grant & 90% sba loan 10yrs ago & 3 stores later)

Ok, but why do you think the quality of life changes for worse when you get the $200k job? It actually gets better. Not just because of more money, but more importantly the way you are treated.

Good point...also it’s funny as the PC reps drone on and on how oncology is no different, so if you believe that why wouldn’t you want to make considerably more money doing the same thing?

    1. I will be extremely pissed if we only get a crappy week of pay per year when our newly appointed HR EVP’s pkg netted her over 130,000 stock options exactly a month ago that run to about 2027 with about 30-40k of them valued at $30! Google her first 2 names if you want to confirm. Retirees should get points AND severance because they can’t touch their nest egg without penalty. SEE AN OUTSIDE ADVISER FOR ADVICE
    BEFORE SIGNING ANYTHING.
    2. Bourla was very clear that COVID wouldn’t affect jobs but was also very clear that their ongoing initiative was going to impact people.
    3. Bourla also mentioned we’d know by October...add in the 60-Day WARN period and you end up right before Christmas breaks. That seems to be their MO.
    4. Remember their goal of.moving to a scientific company instead of being known as a marketing company...teledocs may take on a new meaning

And if that is true you left a few million on the table by staying put. Not to mention staying with the company with the worst reputation in not just the industry, but society. Pfizer is the epitome of all that is wrong in the his business. Congratulations.

When are you going to realize that you're never going to get back at Pfizer by posting here? Just be a man and off yourself already.

National RTF call scheduled for next Wednesday. Betting that no one will be back in the field until next year!

There are many companies currently in the field. Why is Pfizer so scared?

There is no access out there. Have spoke to reps in many areas. We had little to no access prior Covid now the access is horrible. We could all work like oncology and lit drop.

HR on Demand has updated then date on separation plan. It is still 3 weeks per year of service. If you think I am incorrect then tell where to find your source.
