    Healthcare Care Leadership Article

    This paper will give a clear, detail understanding on healthcare leadership and will focus the addressing topics are leadership, experience in leadership, authentic leader, developing skills or habits of an authentic leader, and the benefits to becoming genuine health leader.

    A leader has seen as someone who presided from on high, dispensing wisdom, reward and discipline. The historical view of a leader was of someone in command and control which took an active role in issuing directives and enforcing their execution while remaining at a distance from the daily work (Reh, 2018). There are many types of communication and as a leader by choosing the right line of dialogue that works well with the people that work in your organization. A good leader is one that listens to their staff and uses assertive communication when addressing needs to staff. Working together in teams concerning your staff, eliminate stress at work and will allow staff to communicate with each other to maintain and achieving their goals.
    Leadership means to me someone who has respect for their employee and develop excellent communication skills and eliminate conflicts among staff. Someone who listens to their staff idea, opinion, or suggestion without judging. A person who you communicate without feeling intimidated and listen to your concerns.

    Experience in leadership in health care is communication it has become a problem in the workplace among teams and other coworkers. Some people have a different approach when it comes to communicating with their staff. At my current job, the manager would disrespectfully talk to his employees he uses aggressive communication to his team. The rest of the department lacks communicating skills with my department (Recreation Dept) for example; there's a patient on the high risk of fleeing every other department will know about the patient except our
    department. Our staff wears many hats because we expected our duties we are hired to do. Once a patient admitted to our facility all the head of department notify on the patient care plan and if the patient is at risk of fleeing.

    According to Sherman states good communication is even more critical if the workforce is diverse. With a mix of races, nationalities, genders or faiths on the job, it's easy for people to offend each other accidentally. If promotion and employee review rules aren't clear, minority workers may feel they've discriminated. Policies that clearly spell out how the company applies rewards and penalties can clear things up. Clear guidelines telling employees how to treat each other helps avoid unwanted conflict (Sherman, 2018).
    Authentic leadership is direct, genuine yet respectful, not afraid to show who they are and have strong leadership skills. One who will work on accomplishing goals, and value their staff opinions and a good listener. They can be vulnerable to connect with their staff by providing a safe and conflict-free environment easy for everyone to communicate without limits. Authentic leadership will commend and appreciates their employee hard work by rewarding their employees and work tirelessly to focus on conflicts if they raised.

    Effective development skills to be genuine to your employees and respectful by showing appreciation and complimenting on a job well done and will see a better result in the workplace. Employees will communicate towards to each other without facing conflicts. Staff will be happier entering a stress-free workplace and work together by providing excellent care to their patients.

    Benefits from being an authentic healthcare leader are by providing advice to the staff emotionally and physically and by educating them to be valuable to the company. Appreciating a work well done by having high respect for the team when communicating with them and use
    assertive communication skills and received excellent results and success in your company or organization.

    This paper covers all the addressing topics especially when it comes to communicating with your employees, authentic leadership in healthcare is a leader who is reliable, and true to themselves to accomplished company goals. The genuine leader put the success of the company instead of their interest and will appreciate a job well done by their staff.
