I would think you'd need to be ready to work at any worthwhile company -- Duh!! People at Gilead THINK they work really hard; in reality, it is a company with really good people whose senior management just isn't very smart. None of them would last a year at a REAL pharma company.
Very accurate statement. I have never worked for a more self-important group of people who think they are gifted and special when they lucked out with a pipeline that created their success. GREAT changes are happening at Gilead now, though. So let’s hope that clears out some of the dead weight, and delusional leaders.
Can you define 'GREAT'? Or maybe share what you know. Not quite sure what's going on. JM becomes CSO but doesn't have cell therapy/CAR T or HIV reporting to him. Doesn't add up. Self important -100% agree
