I don't think the customers will stand for yet another TM turnover. underperformance starts at the top.

For those who have no clue of what's going on, if you have a scheduled conference call with your AVP then consider yourself eliminated. Wishing you the best of luck!

Let's not forget the clinical support nurses that are being called tomorrow. Let's see how well the RSM's and TM's do without clinical help!! Uncle Ken is giving a blood bath by saying good bye to 110 US employees! Let's see how all that new culture training goes after this! CVT can always seem to waste money on stupid things like blue chips, mood elevators and let's not forget to count the f's! Get me a flipping break!

Come on guys, is it Ken's fault that the US strategy was to copy everything the competition already had in place for years. Take the concierges, ostomy secrets, starter kits, discharge kits, etc..., nothing unique, nothing to differentiate, some strategy. Then you have this same team that pays millions of dollars to have basic reporting of reach, frequency, penetration and segmentation done for them when most organizations have the marketers doing it themselves. Ok yes they are all busy with developing cutting edge initiatives that prevents them from doing any of a marketer’s responsibility. Why hasn’t this same leader copied what Hollister has done by having four or five nurses to support the call center instead of 18 at a cost of over two million dollars a year! Great use of resources! Oh and how about the SK reporting and the TM's excuse of it got to the patient two days after the Hollister's secure start and my WOCN complained to me. Nice objection handling.
Isn’t it a shame that these key decision makers have had no experience of some critical components of their job? They blame others for the lack of competencies that they are missing. They don’t know what it is like to have to chase a number, meet a quota, forecast a budget correctly, etc…and be accountable for that. Instead it is the fault of someone else because they can’t figure it out. They are so use to using other people for ideas, work, etc…that when it comes to crunch time they go into the blame game mode.
Thus I ask you is it Ken’s fault or is he just doing his job……………..

Low performing TMs were let go on each side of the business (Ostomy, WSC, CCC). Also, we lost coporate accounts, CRSs, and burn specialists. Regardless of my opinion, I wish them the best of luck moving forward. Next up is home office and other global markets. At the end of the day, nearly 1500 employees will be unemployed from ConvaTec.

Are you saying that this round of lay offs impacted 1500, or is that the total number of layoffs since we started playing this game (post BMS)?

And, speaking of flexi-seal look-a-likes....by any chance were either MD or the former Empire RSM (KG) let go?

You must be desperate for work to want to join Convatec. A vicious corporate culture awaits you...been out of work a few years or longer? That's probably the only reason to apply here. If hired, don't file your resume as you'll need it again shortly.

Since sales continue to plummet at Convatec, management decides to cut head count by a few thousand world-wide. Dramatic cuts in personnel equates, temporarily, to a larger bottom line--saving all those salaries!...or so the Bosses think. This place is doomed...the worst (or best) is yet to come. Would a 3M or Coloplast still be interested in rescuing this doomed ship?

Skillman cuts are in full swing. The parking lot is emptying out.
