The problem is that we "field people" never hear the real truth; we get the scrubbed/spun version of what management wants us to hear. Anonymity does allow some evils, but it does provide safety........corporate does not want, nor can it handle the truth.

There definitely is way too much of the immature, moronic, and mean crap here, but the serious posts do provide a forum for those of us who truly want to make Pharma a better place to make a career. It allows serious commentary/discussion re: what cannot be said publically without the risk of being disciplined or fired.

I speak from personal experience as I am one of many who has seen their career hurt....or were fired....due to speaking the truth.

Enough Said !!! Move On !!

Welcome to the corporate world. They don't want to hear you they just want you to do what they tell you to do and smile. It's not a place to express yourself. They have people for that it's called the boardroom. Your a pea in the pod. The only ones who make it have connections, great territories or have worked at the corporate office and who wants to live in NJ or Indiana or Kansas. It's only going to get worse as big Pharma eats up little Pharma and then they raise the retirement age and your company wants a younger guy and carves you out of your job and your 65 and can't retire because the Fed gov. stole your Social security and gave it to the welfare people and illegals and you cavy fry in Medicare because your to young. Welcome to the greatest worst generation of corporate pigs and no sense of any value or loyalty to their employees. You may as well work in China!

That's right the corporate world is one giant playground - sandbox. And there are MANY who are bullies and play just like they did when they were 9 and are being hypocritical - teaching their children not to bully but they do it as adults and it's okay. And it starts with leadership - who sets the tone, culture and example. So If you have a leader who never grew up, plays favorites , backstabs and finds any way he or she can to throw you under the bus and take credit for Being a great leader - get out. These are people who are insecure, and constantly feel threatened with anyone who has a brain that's why they will hire someone they know they can control and get rid of a threat. These are people whose only concern is there own success. A true leader wants everyone to succeed and leads by example that creates a culture that motivates people to always do the right thing !

Sorry for all the grammatical errors. But you get it. It's a negative situation - daily drama and fake people who smile to your face while they are stabbing you from behind

It goes on at every level. If you followed my posts on here, you'll see I stuck the dagger in begleys back when he was at Abbott and again when he ran HSP. Kearney was forced out but walked to the bank. The ERISA class action was a dog and pony show. Abbott had Gettleman
in their pocket. Fuel and Lean was designed to boost stock. It put a tremendous amount of pressure on employees. There was increased workload with a decreased workforce. There was hiring freeze and wage freeze. Why do you think there were MASSIVE recalls and HUGE remediation costs and FDA warning letters out the ass.Brass cut corners and it cost them.
In all actuality, in the end brass won. Ball walks with $92 million tax free Others walk with
$3 $4 $6 $8 Million and Lower level employees walk with little, unless you had 20-30 years at Abbott then even the lower grade workers had $1 million in 401k and Retirement Annuity
    Play On
