What is this division like? With not meeting the primary endpoints in the trial, how difficult is this job going to be? Thank you for professional responses.

Actually, I really am interested in the information. Was contacted by a recruiter and would like to know more about Zoll/ Lifevest. I am new to industry so sorry if it seems like a stupid question.

There are a lot of negative comments, but is there anything positive about the Lifevest position? Does is help with getting into device sales?

Yes it does if you are successful. CRM and AF companies know the value and relationships of a good Zoll Salesman and they will compete with offers to get you onboard. I would say 30 percent of current cardiac device reps once donned then Zoll name.

hensce the reason ZOLL is do the worst it ever has!!! I’m not kidding when I say, you are some of the worst reps I have ever seen! I can speak for leadership when I say, everyone wishes you all would quit. I can make the claim that 1% of our current sales force could make a career in sales, if trained properly. The rest would make good hostesses at Subway.

funny how the churn and burn mentality hasn’t worked in Boston yet continues. Let’s threaten, harass and manage out good reps. Funny how militaristic managers still don’t have better results. Even funnier how our AD who claims to know everything can’t even carry on a conversation with a specialist without sounding like a complete buffoon. Dumb as F***%!

At the risk of being ridiculed I will go for it. I have an interview and the product does seem to save lives and I have asked some hospital contacts and they believe. I get there was a study where the primary end point wasn’t met and there have not been many product updates. Is the product that bad? It seems like this should be fishing with dynamite.

The product does save lives, and that makes the work meaningful and rewarding. The company is not perfect, but no company is. If you have realistic expectations and a hiring manager who you respect, you’ll probably be happy here. If you listen to the people who post here, or any other site, there is no job that you’ll want.

The culture is bad . They push you to make patients pay since 7 out 10 times the insurance company will not pay for the Vest . Get your one month out of the patient and your numbers will be ok but revenue will suffer. Bad business and bad look in the medical community. So the people who suck up to JB and BG will not get written up or fired due to revenue not be at goal . Training sucks and then you are thrown out to battle the worst study design released by a medical company in history .But taught just tell the doctor it saves lives don’t worry about study outcome .. but if covered by any of the insurance companies it will be great.Lost tons of credit selling this bs product because hospital takes all the backlash from the patient and doctor while we high five the one month rental at $3850 from the patient . Bottom line is the main thing at Zoll ! Fortunately the doctors and hospital systems are picking up on BS ! Unethical to push at risk patients to pay for Vest just because there insurance company won’t pay . Either lower the price or stop pressuring hospital to lease or push patient to accept financial responsibility because JB is bitching about people not at goal . Don’t interview here you will not be respected or appreciated.

Well said and agree 100% . If you are in the good old boy club with JB you are set. This club of boys and a few ladies do no wrong and everyone else is hurting his numbers . So much In the area that is so wrong on so many levels . All the reps need stay at ZOLL now because their reputation is ruined in the field . Minus the doctors they pay to be speakers or the ones they allow to speak for 2 programs and get paid . If that’s not a kick back then I don’t know what is . Company needs accountability at the leadership roles .

30%???? Are you out of your freaking mind? You're telling me that Abiomed, Boston, Medtronic, Abbott, Gore etc. recruit from Zoll.....if you've worked at Zoll you'd be lucky to end up at Cook or Bard.

Correct . First question out of new employers mouth “ why would you ever work at ZOLL and how did you make it 1 year “

I never agree with the comments on here but that statement is correct . Customers are pissed and it has effected our brand in the communities . It’s about time for Fits and Revenue to go up again . Then we will hear it’s your fault you took vacations during the summer .
