LinkedIn Laugh of the Day

I saw a LinkedIn job ad for medical equipment sales so I reply to the ad with my resume and cover letter. The next day I see that the HR person checked out my profile and he sent a friend request. Thinking this was a good sign I accepted.

Heard nothing for 3 weeks until today -- I received the thanks but no thanks form letter.

The question is what kind of lame HR person friends you on LI then sends a rejection letter 3 weeks later?
