Manager sleeping with direct employee

Just curious what HR at Myriad would say about an employee and direct manager having an affair.

Because they are both married.

 

Maybe they are in open marriages and their spouses are doing the same thing. Everybody isn't some uptight religious wacko about sex. We all know that we will have desires for other people even when being married. Let them have their fun. It's only sex.

 

Come on....make it real! Give us some names, initials, locations....some kind of staring point would ya!

 

Cheaters suck. Don't blow up marriages with kids for a roll in the hay on business trips. The damage when caught is devastating.

 

regardless of your position on the morality of the issue, it's wrong professionally and a clear violation of the policy of virtually every decent-sized company. The liability for the organization is huge.

 

Liability to an organization because someone cant keep it in their pants or their legs closed....their is no liability for that. It's a free ticket to updating your resume.

 

The manager is an idiot and should know that having a sexual relationships with direct reports is the dumbest thing a team leader could ever do.

Report this to HR immediately. Both parties will probably not get fired but the manager needs to get demoted immediately. Anyone is a position of power that takes this path puts the corporation at a huge risk for lawsuit.

Typically in these situations a subordinate is looking for praise and approval and maybe this manager used it to their advantage to seduce. This is why there are "no fraternization" policies in place.

Apparently HR doesn't give a shit. They protected management and pushed out the lower level employee. What a great family culture this piece of shit company fosters.

If it's just oral, it really isn't cheating.

 

Every other major corporation gets it. Wonder why Myriad and the HR Department protects the "boys club" at the home office? Tells me there is poor culture in the home office and management. Too bad.
