    Manager is only thing keeping me here. Shes good. Upper management is not only nasty and secretive, they set up CS's to be backbiting and competitive. No team work here. Trying to get out.....interviews are scarce.

    SO is running the clinical sales force into the ground. sure hope VB realizes this before it's too late

    He will gang and golly gee you until he kicks you out the door. SO is a POS who NEVER did anything to move market share. His business was built off of the people who were hired before he was, and most of them are long gone. Good luck to those working under him now, I can only imagine the size of his ego.

    I look at the PSR and CS managers from Qiagen and Digene days.
    There are a couple that I would love to have by my side on a critical customer call to assist with product knowledge and selling skills.

    SO should be in pharma! He doesn't understand what it takes to make the sales force successful! So he hides behind calls numbers, metrics, MBO, programs..... He can't get what sale really is about!
    He follows but never leads!

    there are leaders and there are managers
    Steve is an effective manager, driven by call metrics.
    Not a leader nor does he inspire others to do better.
    His direct reports don't respect him and the sales force he controls don't know him.

    LOL. MF is such a jerk. really cannot believe all this managers are still here..then again most of them tried to escape long ago and noone will have them.
