Is there anyone out there without a complete axe to grind who can give a realistic idea of first year earnings? I realize the site I’m on and know 95% of those who come here are disgruntled, trapped employees, but every now and then you come across a straight shooter. So, any insight?
Depends on territory $$ volume. Used to be about 8% average total comp but big changes this year so generally much less until you get to quota.
it all depends on the quota the lower the better . Hight quotas are mostly base low commission . Storz is no longer a career just a job
The previous responses are legit. Depends on the division (each division has different commission rates, qualifiers to achieve plan, etc), and on the geography. I know some Head and Neck quotas are around 1.3M and others are closer to 4M, yet all have the same base and same commission rates. Earnings could vary widely, between probably $125-325k for the meaty part of the bell curve.
