Can someone please explain to me in small words how the people who are making the constantly scrambled schedules at MCC just got promoted? They are working people to fucking death without a god damn care in the world and they get told "good job"? Un Fucking Believable.
You already explained it. They worked you to death. You got overtime but nothing else. Your supervisor did an excellent job managing a resource that can easily be replaced. He was rewarded for that. You are expendable, the company neither values you nor feels you are critical to it's success. Stop your bitching and GET BACK TO WORK.
You are wrong. SK loves us, he told us so. He is even going to install a special shower for anyone who complains, just like they had at the "beech forest" camp. After a quick spray no one will complain. We are all happy and get to sing "Hi-Ho Hi-Ho It's Off to Work We Go" and the "Flag on High" (someone lied) as we march along, happy-happy little dwarfs, or something like that..
Explain, or do you mean "more ridiculous? People have no idea what little regard the ELT has for them. Seriously, they could give two shits about anything but the bottom line. And when you run a company that way you need to be surrounded by ass kissers who are scared shitless to say a word. There is no right or wrong, it's all about meeting the numbers. The really scary thing is they probably believe they are good managers. Think about that. If you disagree they just use their positions are "proof" of how good they are. The ELT can only work at companies that are desperate for the bottom line and do not have a long term growth plan. They will promote as a last ditch effort to retain someone who actually appears to do work.
Potential buyers read these boards. We know what is going on. The front of the house looks good, but the image behind the presentation is one approaching chaos. Smiles and glad handing only go so far.
Audits never make CROs better. They show the flaws that cost too much to fix or the deviations that QA did not catch and are now major problems with CAPAs that cost too much to implement. Audits only show how badly we suck. If the auditor is the FDA then we will get a 483 and that impacts the business in a negative manner.
The audit is friendly fire, hired guns to show possible buyers (maybe BOD) we are good to go. Ugh. End of the month numbers run. This crap never ends
Nope. The auditors will show the owners what deficiencies to steer clear from when they do the dog and pony road show or when buyers are doing due diligence. Friendly fire can kill you just as dead as enemy fire. Hide the skeletons (again), lie to the auditors (just like always) your job(s) are on the line.
He is still a pompous dickhead. Everyone around him, including those he thinks are his friends, think he is the biggest asshole they know. Body language speaks volumes.
You get what you pay for. A third rate CMO can't pay enough to get decent talent. What they do pay buys someone who abuses power, the staff, dabbles in sexual misconduct (hence the BJs in the parking lot and nepotism) and is unscrupulous in business and their private life. They then hire equally incompetent and unscrupulous managers because that is all they can afford and those hires reflect their mentality. Bottom line is we are screwed until the owners sell us and a new crop of equally bad (because there is no money) mangers come in....this cycle has been repeated multiple times at AAI/allclammy Oh, BTW a lot of the staff are also crap because you get what you can pay for.
Mid and upper level management is paid scale, at least on the surface (the ELT is waaaay overpaid). Lower and entry level get the shit end of the scale. There are literally no promotion paths anywhere, people move up as others leave and are NOT compensated when assuming their duties. This is company wide and is a big concern for both customers and the FDA since competency isn't involved in the assessment of the "promotion". And if you ask for a pay bump think Oliver Twist and asking for more soup. Kind of like that only senior management also have long memories. Yes, it also means giving up more of your life, too. Everyone jumps into the same boat when you consider the time - Shitcami requires substantial uncompensated time, 20-40% is not uncommon. Ordinarily people accept putting in extra hours when there is a light at the end of the tunnel and the goals are shared. What happens at Shitcami is akin to the Bataan Death March. Don't blame the prisoners for their conditions. It is amazing that the morons on the ELT, who consider themselves intelligent, continue to drive the ship further into the reef. It all points to simply maximizing intrinsic value at the expense of possible future worth.
