Med Devices Sales & the OR

    I am strongly contemplating a Med Device Sales position and have concerns about the OR side of the job. I have never worked in any medical related field, so I have no experience working in an OR, let alone, around the Medical field culture.
    Do most companies teach Reps the OR protocols and processes? Further, is it difficult to get used to 'seeing' surgical procedures? I don't consider myself squeamish, but rather naive to the process.

    Well, how did you make out with this?

    Listen, sales is sales. don't let people on this forum or in the sales world let you think otherwise.

    Its all about understanding markets, and then talking to people with integrity and with confidence.

    Its simple, but managers complicate it with their egos, and companies make it difficult because companies suck.
