A number of years ago, Straumann thought the global market potential for Membragel was approximately $200,000,000 annually. What type of annual sales are being generated?

The intention was 200M with "Straumann Biologics" products by 2007 to be precise. Not only Membragel. But, what's the point and who cares?

Pretty ironic that this "respected" implant company has now invested more into cheap crappy foreign knockoff companies that in developing their own products to return to their once prestigious role in the industry.

They shut down their own biologics division to fund this crap?

    Thats a lot of cash!

Apparently "value pricing" is more important than real value to Straumann

Read between the lines Straumann users. 3 major investments in "value implants", working deals with Patterson with discount implant lines... starting to get a clear picture?

It's only time until your ITI is filled with GPs buying $75 implants!

Was there for the launch. Miserable product and little if any sales.
