you can't handle the truth. And nothing woukd be done anyway. That is the way it is here.

In today's world, verbal accusations only result in long, drawn out law suits. If you have a bulletproof case, some lawyer would take you on for free, with a percentage of what you would win. But it would have to be bullet proof, otherwise it's on your dime. Who could afford that route unless you were an Executive? So... at this point, it's just "she said, he said" :>)

Yes, it would have to be a good case with a good lawyer to get Astellas interested in the me too issue. But it does exist. In a big way.

It does exist in a very sad way. No guy at the company would admit to it. They're all protecting each other. But the tide is turning. It's obvious that things are changing in society and women will no longer tolerate the abuse. At Astellas it starts at the top with this behavior so of course it's accepted even by women in high levels of power. Astellas women executives (and there are only a handful) are to Astellas sexual harassment as Meryl Streep is to Harvey Weinstein. Turn the other cheek to protect their own power and success. Not just turning the other cheek but also asking women to adjust their behaviors instead of having men change theirs.

It's disgusting. If you've been abused be brave and come forward. It has to stop and now is the time.

Astellas Leadership, we know you hear us
    HR, we’ve come to you

Your lack of action encourages and protects more of the same.

Hmmm, they always try to blame the victim. Nice try, male poster of the above. You are what is wrong with this company.

you know this isn't really the right forum for this "metoo" type of claims. Either press charges or shut the hell up
but not on café pharma. Get a life!

Wrong. It really is a perfect forum for women to understand we are not alone! We should not be shamed, intimidated or silenced. We should stand together and empower each other to speak up.

Disagree! This is the perfect forum for past, present, and future employees to get a first hand view of the REAL Astellas and its number of sexual predators.
