Mike Cornell?

    Can anyone at J&J tell me what happened to Mike Cornell?

    Michael Neal Cornell 54, of Delaware died unexpectedly on April 26, 2010 at his home in Columbia, Md.

    He was born on July 7, 1955 in Johnstown. He graduated from Rutherford Hayes High School and Clemson University where he played football for the Tigers. Mike was an immunology account specialist in gastroenterology for Centocor, a division of Johnson & Johnson. He worked to help treat people with Crohn’s disease.

    He is survived by his parents, Jerry and Joan Cornell; sisters, Anita (Dick) Shively, Rebecca (Richard) Ambrose; Stephanie (David) Cozzarelli; a brother, Barney Cornell; nieces, Lindsay Shively and Lauren and Andrea Cozzarelli; nephews, Scott Shively and Nathan and Mathieu Cornell and many good friends.

    A celebration of Mike’s life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 8, at the Delaware First Presbyterian Church, 73 W. Winter St., with the Rev. Dr. Philip Ferguson officiating.

    In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mike’s memory to the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America, 10400 Little Patuxent Parkway, Suite 270, Columbia, MD 21044 or to the First Presbyterian Church, 73 W. Winter St., Delaware, OH 43015.

    To all of the Cornell family we are shocked and are very sorry we did not know sooner . We greatly appreciate Joan , your response to my mom's Christmas card or we would not have known . As I write this in tears I don't know how to express the sorrow we feel for all of you . Mike was a very dear friend , I'm sorry to say we had lost contact , but we were great friends for many years . With deepest sympathy our hearts are with you . We loved Mike ! Nancy and Judy Krug
