    No sense arguing about ancient history. You obviously have some real issues with the past and present management at ImpactRx. As the old saying goes: 'History is written by the victor'. We will see.

    <yawn>

    Seriously? Who even cares anymore?

    Irx is broken. It is unfixable as is, we all know that. They need to be blown up and re-invented. Even then, who cares? Nothing will happen, they will stay on life support, and will eventually go away. Debating this company is like debating when the sun will burn out. No matter what the answer is, there is nothing you can do to change it and it won't affect you anyway. Irx will never change. Christ, even if it wanted to, it couldn't afford it anyway. It is irrelevant in every way.

    Yes he has some real issues. Patrick B. has been sniping at ImpactRx management on this website since he left the company 3-4 years ago. He can't seem to move on. You might have to call an exorcist to get him to stop.

    Bergin may be sniping at management but he was the best $$ value that company ever hired. He was the sole reason that piece of crap network held up as long as it did/has.

    Idiot....Bergin didn't self post. The fact of the matter is that Patrick was paid about 40% what the incompetents were. Do the math. I saw firsthand how he worked his tail off keeping that network from imploding. No need to believe me of course since you clearly know it's Bergin self posting....idiot

    Patrick was a tremendous asset to ImpactRx. He was a little rough around the edges with people but, then again, so was I. Patrick executed and got things done and there just aren't enough people like that in corporate America these days. Everyone is a theorist. There weren't 3 employees in Impact's history who gave as much as him. My only problem with him was his illogical man-love for Timmerman, but maybe by now he has seen the error of his ways there.

    I don't know. Patrick did his job but he sure was high maintenance with his monthly hissy fits. He has been gone for 4 years and we have brought networks up and down and even retooled physician hardware all without him. The trains are still running. And this was all done by people making less money than he was. There goes the 'he was such a bargain' argument.

    There were 5 people that were let go over the past couple months. Mostly IT related. Not a cost savings measure, but because of improved processes as assessed by the outside consulting firm.

    Yeah, who needs knowledgeable people around when a consulting firm can implement processes that "save" 15% up front? Of course, when you start coloring outside the lines a bit and you need to depend on these same people to adjust and make things work you wind up paying more money -- while probably getting less -- but hey, you made your idiot leaders smile for a few moments.

    Fools...

    When trains and train tracks are well made its amazing how long they can run well when the original builders are long gone. The fact of the matter is the management of this company (and all the iterations of it) have done nothing but live off of what was built in the first 2 years of that company. It's almost incomprehensible to think that the company is 10 years old and still haven't come up with a new product offering in almost 8 years. And no B.S about OncLink (its PromoLink folks) and primary market research (easy to cobble together a few ex-Pharma people). The fact remains that this company will never be sold because of several, but one major fatal flaw - a complete inability to innovate. BTW - Brian Leiser is a complete moron. Just ask around the industry. Its really no surprise that Rich and Angelastro would hire that moron. Truly the blind leading the blind.

    Amazing how any positive comment always gets attributed to the subject... I worked with Bergin for 5 years and I know he could be a huge pain in the ass at times but he also dealt with the most pathetic leadership and managed to build something that did last the the past 11 years. His hissy fits were mostly in defense of the stupidity of the management poor decisions (like outsourcing the panel operations to ePocrates) and in most cases he won the battle... Anyone who knew him may not have always liked the interaction but he was one of the most dedicated pains in the asses the company had and he delviered. The panel is the only asset that company has and Bergin delivered on that. Now, seriously... what was with that love fest he had with Timmerman...

    Angelastro stop posting on the board and do some work... You've had every role in that company and still don't know what's going on. If your going to ride peoples coat tails then dont bash them at the same time.

    Yeah. Our industry must be filled with idiots. Bergin has had three jobs since leaving ImpactRx. Obviously all these morons can't see what a stellar employee he is. We should just put a statue of him in the lobby to make up for this lunacy.
