Unbelievable...RS was talented and had some spunk. Not surprising though, not much of a long term career with Atherotech. Wishing her well!

Numerous PIP plans handed out this week...60 days to get your territory up or you're gone! Hmmm, that could be half the sales force.

Like anyone is going to state their name on here and admit they are on a PIP. Or name someone they know is on one. The whole leadership team should be one

Who are you?! You are an ignorant loser without a clue that is trying to start rumors and cause trouble. Clearly YOU were fired for underperformance and have an axe to grind. Get off the Atherotech site because you have nothing to offer and are an idiot. Go away loser!!!!! Get a life.

You are correct. Not one person in a leadership position has sold VAP or Atheotech services. Not a single one of them have been in the lab business more than a year or so. Not a single RSD has had any success as a TSM. Not one of them worked their tail off to make something out of the opportunity. It was all just dumb luck. Your are also right that the reason that you can't be successful is because none of the blame is on you. No, you know everything. If it were up to you, you would change everything and steady the ship. You know this because all of those soccer trophies, participation ribbons and your mama telling you that you are perfect are validation and proof. You figured it all out. It would really stink to own up to the fact that you are the reason that you aren't successful. That would require acting like a responsible adult. Bless your heart!

Right place at the right time with the right message. Why can't y'all understand that? If you are so smart go start your own company

This company blows. Glad I left and making more $$$. Before you know it they will not be paying anyone besides in network claims. 5th largest isn't going to happen anytime soon regardless of how many new tests they bring in.

Ok, children, behave. The person I am quoting above is responding out of anger toward someone who is, most likely, very successful, albeit nostalgic. Here's the thing: It is, indeed, no longer all about, as you say in your following post: "Right place at the right time with the right message." Sadly, many markets have shifted away from this oversimplified approach. With all due respect, please continue to give us resources and less red-tape. Let's move quickly on opportunities instead of allowing them to slip away. Let's be better than our competitors by returning to six-sigma processes, checks-and-balances, and empowering TSM's to do what is right to obtain, retain, and grow business. Let's return to RD's being present, in our territories with us, to help us DRIVE REVENUE. Let's return to the system we had, previously, where internal stakeholders communicated with field employees. Let's agree that Upper Management should promote from within. It is time to correct the hiring mistakes where outside employees have been brought into the company and placed in RD roles with no TSM experience. It does not work. RD's who do not drive business must go, immediately. Put them in a TSM role until they understand...Continuing to ignore this casts a shadow on your leadership and that is undesirable for a multitude of reasons. Fixing these RD mistakes will shut up TSM's once and for all. Let's move on.

Can't believe RD's start at $127900 and the TSM's start at $75K. Some RD's are worth it if they worked the territory but some of the ones new to the lab business clearly do not grasp the business and are vastly overpaid. Many do more harm than good and just get in the way
