Mrs Bayh. Anything? Your job was oversight. Can you explain why you didn't stop anything?

Do you have a hard on for Mrs Bayh? You act like she was the only board member. I'm not defending her but what is the deal with you constantly grilling her on Cafepharma of all places? You act like she will be compelled to respond....dumb ass.

Other board members may have earned their way on to boards for legitimate reasons even if they had no oversight either.

She will not answer a post on Cafe Pharma but maybe this will help prepare her if there is an expose on politicians spouses on boards of companies while horrific crimes are occuring by executives.

"Susan Bayh, formerly a mid-level attorney for the Eli Lilly Corporation headquartered in Indianapolis, has seen her income skyrocket since Evan joined the auspicious upper chamber of Congress in 1998.

The Bayhs are embroiled in a controversy over the inordinate number of corporate boards on which Mrs. Bayh serves. She is described by the liberal advocacy group Public Citizen as a "professional board member." The controversy will be certain to generate a closer examination of the couple's finances. Formerly overlooked tidbits like Susan Bayh's Wellpoint stock dumping profit should raise a few eyebrows as wel.l"

Her stock purchase about 6 months ago for about 250k was a charade. That money was pennies compared to her overall wealth. Was done for other reasons than for her own personal finances. Now its worth about half. Karma.

Board members are supposed to be the police when it comes to a rogue greed driven CEO. Mrs Bayh, can you tell us why you let Gold be a rogue CEO?

Newsflash! Mrs. Bayh doesn't read an internet board for pharma reps. Why don't you write a letter to the editor or send her a letter?

And why just her? You're boring everyone rigid with your whining. Here's a thought. Buy a magazine and find some other woman to be fixated on.

I told you why. I answered you. She is the only one on the board who is a "professional board member" and the only one on the board who got on boards because of her spouses power. When all the crimes here are uncovered, news organizations will be asking her these same questions about being a "professional board member" in the context of her failures to stop the heinous acts of those she was responsible to have oversight of. She wont respond directly to these posts but it sure has gotten your interest. I wonder why you are so interested in posts about her. Why not just let it go? Hmmm.

Poster 9 and poster 5 are two different people (I'm #5). Now you have two people who think you are a borderline internet stalker. You really don't have a clue. Do you? Who cares how and why she got on the board?? The fact is everyone who sits on a board these days get appointed because they have influence and power. In some cases it's financial. In others it's industry expertise. In her case it is/was political. If you actually did some homework you would find most board members sit on multiple boards and they tend to move from one company to the next. Many are professional board members.

But that is besides the point. Most people come here to be entertained and occasionally catch the latest in the rumor mill... But you??! You are on some kind of misguided and twisted crusade carried out on Cafepharma of all places. This is not the place to get the kind of results you seek.

(I apologize for the insult if you are a minor or have diminished mental capacity. In fact I applaud your activism. But if you are a Dndn employee, investor or otherwise fully functioning adult... You are just plain stupid)

Sorry, but poster 9 and 5 are not different people. There are not 2 not people in the world (who don't have other motives or connections) who would take such offense to posts about professional board members, particularly when it is due to political influence and in a company where crimes took place. Mrs. Bayh and her board positions were a big story a few years ago. Her husband quit politics possibly due to the firestorm and the fact that she was raking in big bucks. It is transparent to anyone reading your posts that you have other motives. No one in their right mind who isn't connected to abuses of power would take exception to those posts. It is not just salespeople who read this board. Your motives are obvious. One last thing. Are these people stalkers or are they people who just strive for America to have a more level playing field?

On point from one of the posted links "The WellPoint campaign, set to be formally announced Thursday by a coalition of activist investor groups, demands the resignation of two WellPoint board members, including Susan Bayh, the wife of former senator Evan Bayh (D-Ind.), for allegedly failing to oversee “high risk political spending.”

Professional board members on many boards just dont have enough hours in the week for legit oversight.

Maybe at the end of the day some good will come out of what happened here. Who would have thought they would ever really focus on that bill to prohibit insider trading by congresspeople. They did that. Now maybe when all is said and done the failure of this board to police the executives at DNDN will put increased scrutiny on boards, board compensation, board members who are on multiple boards, the time board members need for each of their board positions to be effective overseers of companies executives, and board members who are on boards because of who they know in government or who they are married to in government.

Seems like the lackey crony keeps bumping this post down. If all is moral and just and fair in her world she would be more secure about all her actions and lack of actions.

The Gold's, The Bayh's, The Hamm's of the world do nothing but undermine the ability of hardworking Americans to get this country strong again. Their greed and abuses of the system are destructive to everyone who truly loves America. These are not people who love America. These are people who abuse the American system and threaten the principles this country was founded upon.

The only possible logical explanation for this board to let Ex-CEO continue to cripple this company by his very existence on the board is that removing him would be an admission they know he committed heinous acts. Acknowledging that they know of the heinous acts would be an indictment of the job they did on the board. It is a board's responsibility to stand up to rogue corporate psychopaths and stop them. This board failed employees, stockholders, and bondholders and as the class action lawsuits indicate, they are holding board members accountable as well.
