arthrex to split into 2 companies.
Namal to take over joint/spine half. massive m&a to follow.

No way that happens. That’s a pipe dream. Arthrex too greedy to sub-divide that way. They believe they “can do it all.”

    What’s your source?

Doesn’t mean Reinhold wouldn’t still own both companies. More like divisions of the same company. This is the same model under which Hansjorg Wyss owned and operated Synthes trauma, spine, and max face for decades before finally riding off into the sunset donating to Hillary Clinton.

“ go it alone” ? you mean like buying a surgical video company and stealing 25% market share in 2 years ?you’re right they never do that.

We need Namal more now than ever. This new crew is lying through their teeth. Spine company? Extremity company? Perfect OR3O launch? Backorders fixed?Haven’t delivered anything and some areas are worse.

New leadership has over promised and under delivered for sure. They were going to show everyone how it was supposed to be done. After a couple of years running the show I’m not sure what’s dramatically improved. Underwhelming is an understatement.

Namal leaving was devastating to this company. The ones that were left in place are in way over their heads as everyone can see. Talk big and deliver nothing

We absolutely need a shoulder and a porous knee now. Buy Exactech already and let’s move on. Do something someone! Namal would have already pulled the trigger on a couple of acquisitions by now and not these tiny add on companies either.

Arthrex will buy Exactech just to get back at SN. Florida based company that’s saturated w ex SNN people.

Someone will buy Exactech soon. Absolutely could be Arthrex but S&N makes more sense. If S&N doesn’t move on a solid shoulder soon there won’t be a good option left!

Hope S&N is in the mix with Exactech since Tornier is gone. If you’re ever going to buy a company now is the time. Namal would have already been in the extremities and spine markets by now.

If we don’t move on an acquisition and take a competitor out I’m afraid we’ll be the ones getting bought. Namal always understood this.

A couple years ago my manager told us all that Namal had committed to buying a spine and extremity company. Too bad he didn’t stick around.

Don’t worry the robot will fix everything.
It’s not like stryker has a head start, placed hundreds of theirs already, and has killer leverage through other divisions. Our robot is the answer !!!

What are we calling it now? CORI? Some day someone will stand up and call it navigation, which is really what it is. A burr to make bone resections...funny. At least it’s better than Rosa. Or is it?
