It's not a real robot, it's just a navigated knee system. It's only doing well in states where Stryker can't get approval for CT scans. It's a base of 75 with benefits and commission (which is almost nothing). It's a bad place to be right now, there's no other systems that work with it. Zimmers robot will work on spine and knees, strykers will work soon with their spine and when globus purchases a joint company their robot will also work.

Smith & Nephew is hoping a new shoulder will save it, but it wont.

Is there a future for this product? As 1st to market will they lead growth in this new product offering?

The Navio is not first to market--that would be the Mako.

Both positions are open in my territory.

What is the realistic outlook for Navio? Mako?

What do sales and comp look like for these products?

    Thank you for your feedback

For Mako the future looks bright, very bright indeed - installations happening both US and OUS at a rapid pace coupled with a healthy pipe. They just need to keep investing to stay ahead of the rest.

For Navio, I will be surprised if it even still exists in 5 years time...

You obviously underestimate Wallace. Moved him over from Sports Med for a reason

If you put that much trust in Wallace you’re probably a bigger idiot then previously thought.

How many hospitals purchased a Navio based on the Smith and Nephew pro forma of projected income?

Does anyone know about any issues with that?

Look at his track record. Rose thru the ranks at a record pace. Obviously, someone saw something in him. They even brought him back after he resigned to go elsewhere

    If you say so
Just don’t lose your grip on his sack, that fall may hurt

Who ever told you that is on crack!

Most the reps are on crack. Pimple face brats always thinking they’re entitled.

Any realistic views on this job? Decent salary, but is it a joke of a device? Read a lot of reviews on here that state it’s not a “real” robot and it’ll be useless against some SYK and Zimmer bots...

Just tired of recruiters being full of crap, so a realistic answer would be very appreciated.
