    SUMMARIZED RULES:

    1) During regular season play all picks will be based on the "odds" or the "point" system reported by YAHOO (SportsDirect) prior to the week's games. The "points" recognized will be the "points" displayed on posted "Pick-Em" schedule that will available for viewing 3-4 days in advance of the week's games. Should the "point" spreads change after the "Pick-Em" schedule is posted - the revised "points" shall not apply.

    2) You can only edit your picks before 12:00 AM Saturday Eastern Time for Saturday Games. You cannot edit picks for games already in progress!

    3) Not all NCAA Div. 1 games will make the weekly "Pick-Em" schedule. Only those major games of interest. We are going for quality here. Not quantity. Games with a 21 "point" spread or greater are highly discouraged.

    4) A Tied final point spread game also known as a PUSH will be considered a "win" for every player.

    5) All pickers shall show respect and courtesy toward their fellow pickers . A competitive spirit is fine. But let's keep it clean and be friends.

    6) In the event of a board dispute on operational matters - all disputes will be resolved by the MODERATOR:BAMABOY

    7) Post-season play (bowl games) shall be based on straight picks and NOT the "point" system used during regular season play.

    BAMABOY WEEK 1 NOTE:

    WELCOME BACK my fellow Cafe Pharma College Football Pick Em Friends! This is Week 1 of the College Football Season and looks like we have a good full slate of kickoff games!

    This week we will see Georgia Tech Vs. Boston College play in Ireland. LSU VS. WISCONSIN at historic Lambeau Field!

    Tinkrbelle and I get to see our teams finally play USC VS. ALABAMA at Cowboy Stadium in Arlington, Texas! I think one of the most competitive games this week will be OLE MISS VS. FSU.

    I am sure everyone here including me is so happy to see COLLEGE FOOTBALL back! It has been a long hot summer (especially here in BAMA) but things are starting to really heat up now that College Football is finally kicking off.

    Hey BB, these were already bolded so what I did was underline my picks and unbold my non-picks. Example Game 2 = Oregon State is bold and underlined and they get an implied +13 points because the the opponents have a -13. In some cases the point spread is on the side of the bolded team. Does that make sense?

    VAG- Yes just underline your pick. I will just change the wording in the rules to say "underline" instead of "bold and underline." It is fine if you underline the point spread with the team you are choosing. It is very clear when you make the team pick. This year I am really trying to have a more organized system when I post games. I am actually checking out a couple of different websites to get accurate point spread information.

    Thanks for re-checking things like this. I really appreciate it because sometimes I post this info fast and as you know I am liable to make mistakes.

    It's great to see you playing again this year. I wonder if Fuckie will join us?

    Where it gets confusing for me is when one time, the team I pick has the spread right beside it and the next time it doesn't. I like the idea you PMd me. But then more work for you.

    I'm so excited that Football is here!!! I hope all the old players will come back to college pick em, but it looks like many don't post anymore. Thanks BamaBoy for Moderating again this year.

    I will PM her but don't know her offline (even though I'm assure she wants my body :cool: jk). I hope she joins us. I contacted Libs emailed and will contact BN although I know they're both really busy this fall. Fingers crossed.
