    Pay structure:

First depends on if this is a solo TM territory or a Co-TM territory. Co-TM share the commissions.

Also, depends on how much they territory is currently generating, if under 2Million or 2.5 million revenue you're base salary will be 65K I believe BSN says for territories about that 2.5M mark the TM’s salary jumps to 75-80K.

    Day to Day activities:

You were many hats, this also will be dependent a lot of the territory has Clinical specialists and how many CS’s they have. Expect to cover cases, take docs to dinner, do repros and call on docs not currently using BSN product- also expect to talk with patients constantly. Everyday is different.

Stress level: this also depends on who your RBM would be, their management style, your local competition and local BSN market share, along with if their is a CS in the territory. This is not a 8-5 M-F type of jobs, hints why it says ability to work 24/7 on their job descriptions

What number do you have to hit:

Hopefully if you're any good at sales you will be negotiating a 1st year commission guarantee. But it will depend on what your quarterly quota is, which isn't calculated annually it's given about 3+ weeks into the current quarter.

    Perks:

Selling something that positively impacts a chronic pain persons life.

Oh and don't forget- sell that OMG and personalized waveform with the new IPG wave runner and talk about the 32 contacts 4 ports and MICC till your blue in the face

Boston is known for paying the lowest between all the SCS companies

How long does it take to get above base? 65k seems low.

That would depend on how good a sale rep you are. And how strong your pain doc relationships are.

Stupid question though, 65K base isn't that low for this type of medical device sale.

im new to this aswell. How is the insurance and benefits?

Car allowance, com card, gas, ext.

Is it worth leaving a ortho sales role?

Nevro is on a path to inevitable domination of the SCS space. You should take the rep job with Boston...think of it as step towards being a Therapy Specialist at Nevro. Good luck!
