Jim Willet, responsible for entire PB 980 fiasco, pushed testing on humans in Panama b4 animal testing, plagued with class 1 recalls since launch, Medtronic put it on a commercial hold for 9 months, missed revenue targets since launch, pulled from NICUs worldwide, orchestrated Newport acquisition which is dying on the vine.

Dawn Bitz who worked on final 980 feature set and launch plan. Shoved out of covidien, ran her glamping business into the ground, got fired from her last job in lab equipment.

Joels is not bad but doesn’t have what it takes to push the buniess to the next level. He isn’t a disruptive thinker but very good at managing current business.

Tides def turning with that dream team. Lol.

 

What do these people have to do with vyaire? Do they work here now?

What do you think of the situation with 980 and TGA? We have been told that the issue with TGA was old recalls and nothing new.

It’s new, one of many field actions and recalls happened since launch on vent with flawed design. Scary part is issue found shortly after Medtronic commercial hold lifted which supposedly fixed all the problems. The entire $180 million 980 train wreck exclusively fault of Jim and Dawn. They wanted their bonus patient safety be damned. Launched too early. Poor Joel was stuck cleaning up their mess.

Closed loop PTP is a pipe dream. A leaking balloon that kills a patient when pressure is upregulated or imagine what may happen when patient pulls it.
This company has become so incompetent. I was a big fan in the Bird and Bear days.
