I've been talking to Arthrex lately and it sounds like a pretty good gig. This would be my first medical sales gig and I'm hoping for some advice. Apparently they are trying to develop a new territory and looking for a new rep to cover it. Anyone know about Arthrex in Nebraska? Any insight?
Arthrex is a great place to start. And to remain and prosper, if it works out for you. Heads-up. Arthrex sales is a tougher gig than in the past. More is expected with less resources and lower commissions. The old-timers want those big-income, easy as falling off a log times to return. This will never happen, like gas for 99 cents a gallon. That said Arthrex is a great starting point for those with competence and willing to work hard. Good luck. Avoid the crybabies like poison.
The most critical part of any Arthrex gig is opening boxes. Practice. Practice. And practice more opening boxes.
