Anyone hear of the new acquisition in New York?

 

I heard that Quest is purchasing Bio

 

That rumor has been going around for years, what's changed?

 

What’s changed? What rock did you just crawl out from under? This is no longer just loose talk. BioReference is in total meltdown, crisis mode, no doubt by design, and Quest has played this thing out perfectly. And Labcorp suspiciously appears to be sitting this one out. Let’s just say that the composition of the executive team over there was no accident. You gotta love Quest Diagnostics. What a blatant ballsy move.

 

While perfectly sound reasoning, still just rumor unless you can provide actually info and not just speculation. Date of takeover?

 

The takeover has been in the works since Geoff infiltrated the organization, if you want to call it that. Watch the OPKO PPS, < 1.00 = the date. Hope this helps

 

I doubt there was any conspiracy here by Quest to load the Bio senior team. Strongly suspect Quest would not want some of them back.
