What are the hiring timelines and where are interviews being held for the new Shire ADHD contract?

I have an interview in Chicago next week and the recruiter told me that the targeted start date is 8/28

 

What is the salary range for an experienced rep?

 

It's around 65k

 

I am sure you have been told by now that this contract has been put on indefinite hold. Not a good sign for inVentiv.

Is it truly on hold (or cancelled)? I was just told the interview dates needed to be rescheduled. I know that was a red flag, but I'm still hopeful...

 

Heard interviews are still moving forward.

 

They are going to give it back to their dogshit reps that are wanting to jump ship and hope they stay. No doc in their right mind want to write a 16 hour stimulant.

hey Shire Neuroscience rep here

We were told this week that Shire plans to sell the Neuroscience franchise. There are currently at least a dozen vacant territories in the NBU and zero job postings. We take this to mean that there is a hiring freeze in the Neuroscience division.

Wondering what this will mean for those of you posting for the Shire contract jobs or if there are now any plans to move forward with the contract positions.

Is anyone aware of any active interviewing going on?

If so, be sure to ask how the Neuroscience division being up for sale will change the job for you if you are to take it.

 

Ugh, this is frustrating. Until that happens, don't they need a sales force on the ground? Maybe that's why inVentiv would be a good fit. Is anything confirmed on the contract?

I was notified by the InVentiv recruiter that interviews will now be the week of August 14 in Chicago.
