Is it just me or did the patient/employee testimonial feel WAY OFF TARGET for a company meeting about strategy while everyone is wondering about layoffs... poor taste. Also, right after telling us about his nocturnal hypo, smooth segue into daring us to "be bold" & "take risks" but always stay compliant? Um, no thanks, not indicated! #DCAmove
im not sure you understood what big D was attempting to do. Dan was there to smooth things over and bring a sense of we're doing what's right for the patients attitude. In other words, we're about to make BIG cuts people but we have to do it to keep our products here for people like Dan. Dan needs Novo to be around in the future. Dan represents millions of Tresiba needing people.
Couldn't agree more. Nothing against Dan but he was used as a pawn to perform a really awkward exchange of bad acting. We are fully aware of the benefits of Tresiba to the patient. This wasn't only bad timing but down right insulting to the rest of us trying to figure out what the hell is going to happen in the next few months. The fact that Doug never addressed the elephant in the room but waited for a field rep to ask the question after the clown show and the stories of celebrations shows the lack of transparency at Novo. The entire web cast was insulting.
Would all of the above posters, please just leave. And take the rest of your expansion class with you. You are what's wrong with NNI. Retreads who've obviously been through layoffs before. You are the problem.
