What the heck happened? This was supposed to be a done deal months ago according to the guy that just left us.

That probably has something to do with why he left...

Which came first? Did Namal leaving cause Wright to walk away or did the Wright deal fall apart and Namal decided to jump?

Exactech has to be the play now! Stryker takes what it wants and others get whatever is left. Better move fast before Depuy buys them too.

Is Skip still here? With Wright Tournier gone Smith & Nephew is now the one in the buyout crosshairs. We are a distant number 4 from the top 3. We were supposed to be in acquiring mode before Namal left.

Yeah. Our ceo left because of lack of pay. Pure b.s. Were fucked.

We just got beat! That was the buy that would move us in the right direction and we couldn’t pull the trigger.

The board approved money for acquisitions for Namal. No Namal means no money! It’s over folks

Who even needs Snn at this point?

You people act surprised. Who will be at this years sales meeting: Richard Simmons ? Pilates instructor ? Patches Ohalloran ?

Patches is a legend! With no money to buy anyone leadership is left with a complete mess to fix that they didn’t create. Backorders will sink this ship.

No shoulder is killing us. This Wright deal going south hurts! Namal would have closed that deal.

Namal was hired to buy Wright Tournier. He hand picked his team to make the integration seamless. They were all chosen to make Smith and Nephew a larger player. Now they are left to handle manufacturing and backorders. Missing out on this deal will cause others to bail.

Great Stryker beat us to the punch on tournier and now they’ll have a year or two head start in the market with a great shoulder and we’ll be playing catch up. Typical!!

    Y’all it’s Tornier

I’m certain the deal was predicated on S&N listing in the US and paying a premium buyout. Board denies the listing change, Namal exits, deal falls apart.

Stryker just put everyone on notice that the shoulder market is theirs. Depuy and ZB are absolutely freaked out about this. While the big 3 fight it out we still don’t have anything in the works for a total shoulder. We got beat, lost out or outbid, whatever you want to call it we still don’t have a shoulder!

    We should buy DJO

Wright comes with a shoulder and ankle filling two giant needs in the fastest growing arthroplasty segments both getting excellent reimbursement. Ankle could be huge over years ahead with minimal competition. Maybe it's not too late to put a rival offer together. Watch JNJ and ZB, it won't be SNN...

This is becoming stupid, companies much smaller then us have a total shoulder, ankle, spine and great biologics. WTF is going on? It’s amazing that we are even considered the distant number four.
