No Xeljanz reps hired by Biogen or Gilead

Dont get discourage and bummed out because 50% of Xeljanz reps and 70% of DMs & RD applied for these Biotech jobs & not one got hired (yes the 2 who were hired did not apply or post rather we recruited like Coach K style & never had a resume). There is still hope with companies ramping up big $$$ for top talent.

Sounds like 130 Xeljanz reps & 17 DMs are not as good as they think they are given none were hired.
There are always other opportunities for half the sales force to go after.

 

You do not know what you’re talking about. Anyone that thinks the info from this thread is accurate needs to check real sources.

 

Dont be defensive that your postings for other companies are exposed. You have to remember there are ex Pfizer VPs and RDs at Biogen that know the FACTS and info travels fast in the executive networks.

No need to get feathers ruffled or emotional as it is all good because your VP told all Reps & DMs to go look for better financial opportunties as you owe it to your families.
And over half of you did that after you NSM.

Gilead has not hired any reps. Offers are on hold indefinitely. Biogen has made some offers, but not all, and that is just the first wave.

Biogen has interviewed half but not hired any as they had a 6-8 month product delay.

Gilead has hired their priority geographies/markets. (About 70%) who have been trained & selling new covid drug Remdesavir for now. The other 1/3rd will be hired in Jan.

All 3 companies had hired most reps few months ago and they have a few spots nationally to backfill.
Genenetech already trained & selling Retuxan & Actemra. Gilead reps trained & selling Remdesavir as their JAK isnt launched until mid 2021 now
Novo reps gearing up for new insulin
