Not many Basel based managers mentioned on this thread. I’d start with NBS but the list would be too long. The fish rots from the head, as they say!

Easily CM our hospital CV director. Had zero hospital experience prior to moving into position has limited understanding of the hospital space, just like most in this pc company. Manages by fear and promotes those that know how to sniff his ass regularly his approach is more about feeding his own ego than a business savvy approach to account management and btw this isn't enough of a hospital drug to justify 70% ddd for IC our abls are afraid of him and therefore limits their own coaching styles and independent thinking If we don't get a preserved indication, game is over. And before any of you tools chime in with your predicted rhetoric about the hospital group not doing anything, division should be eliminated blah blah blah, understand that you are faking it too with sample drops and fake call averages We are all the products of this shitty micromanaged environment

Yep, last sentence says it all. We are all living the lie, it's all BS, no one is selling anything just driving around around playing Rep having fake conversations w/ Management who are in turn having fake conversations w/ the next level up.

He's derailed a few careers of some really good people over the years

Spot on. At every meeting he preaches the importance of building your networks so we can surely blaze our professional development trail. What he really means is do it his way or you'll have zero support. Nothing genuine about this prick

Like most Big Pharma companies in 2019 most of Management speaks the right words but there is NO intention or meaning behind those words. Don't expect any talk or memo to have any meaning to it. Especially if you read words like Integrity, Work Life balance or Do the Right Thing.

PA does have many low EI leaders. look at PR in State College, no one at Novartis and her past companies (BMS/Pfizer) liked her. Ask her how many offices she has been thrown out of as a Manager and Rep. Pretty said

Daniela in CA has to be the most unethical, arrogant, lying ABL I’ve ever worked for. I can’t believe she still has a job after everything she’s done.

Mark Thacker in Tampa is by far the most de-motivating manager I've ever heard of.
