To the jackass that posted above you need to get some of your facts straight! You say the success was because of the ASD and training? As far as I know the ASD has only been there a few months so how is that possible? You say we moved away from the previous DM? You didn't move away from him he quit! No the territory wasn't second or third you idiot it was number 1 and yes the DM quit. What does that tell you? I don't know how good he was at covering cases because I never worked with him but he was good enough to have the territory ranked number 1. Yes I am sure the training helped some but every rep gets the training not just his reps. Finally I hope whomever is interviewing for that open position realizes that it's not the entire territory you are interviewing for? You are only interviewing for a significantly reduced territory and from what I understand is why the previous DM left was because he was pissed off that the company was taking his number one territory away from him and giving him a significantly reduced portion of his territory that he made number 1 without any guarantees or overrides for what he had built. Company is willing to give a new hire a guarantee for this territory but wasn't willing to give the DM that built the number one territory any kind of a guarantee for this exact same reduced territory that they would give a new hire a guarantee too. Doesn't make any sense and is crazy! Not saying to whomever is interviewing for this position shouldn't take the job but you should at least be aware of all the facts. Most importantly make sure you ask exactly what territory you are interviewing for.
