Am I the only one to predict a giant failure for this new organization ?

Those new CRO people tout everywhere that we will be more effective, and forgot to say that we were already much cheaper that their scumbag CROs.

I have never seen such an exodus of competent people, it starts to be scary... And the first announcements are not even there...

it really has been poorly implemented and poorly rolled out.

Are you asking about GDD or GDO or both? The latter is a subset of the former...
I think it will take a long time to shift the Franchise mindset of many people in Dev.

I vote yes for GDO - too much change, too quickly, focused on cost and nothing else.

They will be suffering once we all go...

Keep in mind that the managaement keeps saying headcount will remain the same. Pretty sure this is smoke and mirrors as I am sure they will keep it the same, but move a ton of the headcount to India where I am pretty sure that they quite literally pay these incompetent fools with peanuts.

Let's be respectful when we talk about India and our colleagues there. I work with many who are super competent and good at their jobs...

Then you are in the very very very small minority.

i sit in gdd gdo and its a shitstorm right now. Good people are leaving, rumors everyday about layoffs, no alignment cross therapeutic areas, its just a mess.

I know a lot of people are just waiting to see what kind of package we can get if we get laid off. Another rumor is some LF's will get rebatched to a CRO, which may mean no packages.
