NOVARTIS PENSIONERS TREATED BADLY

News item: Mike Duffy (the pig) will be formally charged by RCMP. You know the story. He is a huge PIG who ate through hundreds of thousands of our dollars, gained all that weight and even had a woman that must have charged him (our money) for going through ...., you can imagine the sceme. On the other hand don't.
Moral of this story; we have laws* in this country to fight criminals like him and your Co. but a lot has to happen before our authoriy move their sorry ass. The key is public exposure first, then they have no choice but to investigate the crook. Thus the charge in the end.
Another alternative is that someone with evidence provides that evidence to the RCMP, with a threat they would expose it to public if nothing is done. Then they may, as in first scenario, act the way they must under our laws.
In case of your crooked Co. nothing happened so far, that would induce or force the RCMP to act. No public exposure (only in USA) in Canada. No evidence submitted to them by "loyal" employees or pensioners. And worse, we have a neo-con, ultra-righ wing (close to fascist) govt that is absolutely bent to protect the corporatism system, at any cost. That means they themselves would never "hurt" any corporations, regardless how much they defrauded and otherwise fucked the population and society, UNLESS there is absolutely no alternative. That alternative can be had only if someOne exposes them to the public (say headline "NOVARTIS DEFRAUDS OUR HEALTH CARE TO THE TUNE OF HALF BILLION") or PROVIDES the EVIDENCE to the authority, with threat the evidence would be given to media, or simply given to media for simultaneous public exposure.
As result, the crooked co is investigated and eventually charged, just like that other fat pig, Mike. But as we have seen so far, no one is willing or brave to do it, so this pharmafat pig continues to gorge on public money far beyond what they deserve. And we all pay for it, while you the poor abused pensioners continue to hope for that "appointment" with his majesti, Novartis CEO, so he may agree to throw you few chicken bones, every 20 years or so. How pathetic.

Did you know there was another of those meetings Novartis pensioners have on regular basis. You read about their main concern, having their measly pensions brought up to inflation rate if nothing else. Do you think they had that meeting with his majesty the CEO whoever he or she is this year? We don't know yet, but are willing to bet our lives they did not have it, as usually. If they were given (fake ) appointment it was cancelled few days before it took place. As usually for the last 10 plus years. Can anyone fucking believe this behaviour by the company claiming to be one of the most ethical and decent co part of community they work in? Yes you coud not make this up and tell it, for no one would believe you. Yet it happens every year as the pensioners who gave their working lives to this Co, made her what it is today, lied, cheated, broke laws under orders to make it more and more richer, yet they are treated like garbage. This as they are dying off.
Will there ever be justice for them? Yes there will be for there is a huge body of evidence of this co's criminal behaviour that will be made public and provided to proper authority in good time.
Those holding this irrefutable evidence could forgive them and "forget" about their sins, should they do something about the issues retirees are craving to have resolved. This and make them retroactive 10 years, you will be off the hook. It'll be left to someone else to bring you down as you continue to do your illegal and unethical practices.
That bringing you down is still uncertain, but the one by pensioners is CERTAIN if you don't do the right thing. This ain't no idle promise.

Let them have some time to do (or not) the right thing. For those of you who worked in the biz, this tells you all. This Co is involved in illegal promotion of a major drug, by using illegal, unapproved promotional material, thus violating HPB regulations and Federal laws governing the promotion of pharmaceuticals in Canada. In USA Novartis was found guilty for the very same crime and fined $430.000.000.00 as result. Look it up at "Taxpayers against fraud".
This because they have their famous and effective law to fight such crooks, called False Claim Act. Here they get away with proverbial murder and thus they are awashed in blood money. But you don't get any of it even though many of you did the very crime for them, under orders of course.
Off-lable promotion is the mother of illegal, criminal, immoral, unetical big-pharma behaviour. Of course there is more, much, much, much, much, much, muc....more.

 

Am I missing something, or someone removed the Goods #2, where the names of doctors taking bribes were listed. The names were not complete but location of their offices were listed, thus anyone interested to find out who they are, could easily put two and two together.
I knew this incident of big time bribery. In fact was in the board room of Novartis when this was discussed and decision made to go ahead.
The bribery called for bribes (in form of "grants") of up to $25.000 to important specialists who would prescribe Diovan to their patients to the tune of 3-5 times of "grant" they took.
Those docs listed were all the top of the top and each and every one took $25.000 in bribes.
Of course this is covered up by the co but evidence exists out there and could be eventually submitted to authority.
ps: is it possible someone (from this co for sure) requested that information be removed? Does anyone know? Nothing surprises this writer.

As every year, this year the appointment they thought they had, was cancelled in good time before it was to take place.

When the current CEO Timothy Maloney was asked about long overdue pensions adjustment he said it would present "more of a challenge" and "regrettably not presently feasible".
Can you fucking believe this low life? This at the time that the company is making billions (at least half of that by using criminal practices, like bribes, off label promo etc etc) by looting health care systems around the world.
What can anyone add to this? Simply disgusting and the worse part is that they continue to BS the world how wonderful and socially responsible they are. Well this will change eventually and they should remeber that those they abused have long memories.

 

Further to this comment: We have news for you, it's been 8 years now, since the first meeting with then A hole CEO was arranged, then called off days before it was supposed to take place. Every year since they do the same thing; give the date for meeting, cancel it before it takes place. In your case/version this is what that good adage can be changed to: LIVING WELL AND LOOOOONG IS THE BEST REVENGE. So what we are asking you is the following; look after yourselves the best you can and beyond. Your health must be the best you can have it, thus will take you to a longest life possible. Ask your brain to please take you to the max, even name years, like 99 or 105 or modest 88 years of age, whatever is the longest you want to be around and draw their lousy pension.
This way you may even outlive any of those fucking bastards that are treating you so badly, while in all their public releases they brag how wonderful and superb company they are. Rubbish. Yes that is the mildest printable word that describes their reality, folks.

Recent meeting in Oct. 2017: same BS. They had the appointment cancelled and are working on booking another on, with the new AH CEO. Apparently some poor bastard, pensioner wrote a letter to the new CEO (the one who cancelled the appt). bagging for "more" as it was done by Oliver Twist in that horrific Novartis tale everyone knows. Did you read the letter or part of it? Well in answering it the CEO of this multi billion company, that has looted all health care systems around the world to the tune of untold billions, using both legal and illegal means, is crying poor but understanding of the plight of poor pensioners. She (I think it is she and heartless one at that) claims that the pension fund is inadequate and she hopes that one day this "poor" pharmamafia company will be able to give some more. At least to those who survive the next 100 years of this poor period the Co is going through.Yes it is that damn pension fund that can not be made adequate by this super rich and super rootless co..Mind you, even an unborn monkey would figure it out why the fund is inadequate. Simple, this evil Co is simply keeping it inadequate on purpose. Thus they can not afford to throw another chicken bone to you. DELAY, DENY AND HOPE YOU ALL DIE. That is their motto. Latest news: Nothing has changed in the lying ways of this company. Latest president a female by the name Janice Murray, told the pensioners to "eat cake". She said that the company making billions looting all health care system around the world (they are not picky in looting both private and public ones) can not "afford" any increase in pensions now almost 20 years without any adjustments.
