Oh thank you Tres for sneaking in the email notice yesterday in the 11th hour just before the recent pathetic joint 7/1 effective PCP call plan (AND PROCESS) w/ Otsuka on Rexulti; now adding another PCP rat race w/ Takeda on Trintellix. BIG WASTE OF TIME, not to mention a huge slap in the face to tenured specialty sales reps here at Lundbeck. PCPs = YUKKKK and another sales force calling on those fucks will not go over well in primary care clinics especially these days with all the limitations.

Is this Lundbeck's last-ditch effort to try keeping the psychiatry business franchise afloat? Kaya, John and Tres, please be transparent and tell us.

Next week's COVID update Town Hall w/ Peter should be interesting too! LOL

So, there goes the “specialty” title. Oh well, just more things to lie about. Man, that virtual lunch went great Mr. ASM! I saw all 3 providers with a 2 product detail!!! They actually think this will have a meaningful effect on sales!

What they don’t want you to know is with Veeva engage foundation in place, you will not be employed 18 months from now. Everything will be call centered.

Who gives a f*ck... it’s a job. You’re paid pretty well to be calling on PCPs and it’s easy. Find another job if you’re too above it

What about the announcement that Takeda has partnered with Neurocrine for all their future Psychiatry products?!
    Where does that leave Lundbeck?

Most won’t have jobs soon beyond used car sales.

After all the hours and meetings to strike a delicate balance of calls with Otsuka, we get this dumped in our inbox. And why Vertex leading the meetings? They led with Otsuka too.

After all the meetings to coordinate the new Otsuka JCP, we get this email with more to call on. How will this effect the delicate balance of calls with Otsuka? And why is Vertex leading this one too?

F*CK OFF ASSHOLE. Totally agree with the OP here. The above poster is prolly an ASM on here worried about their own sorry ass and drinking the company kool-aid. Primary care sales is for newbie pharma reps and a complete insult to a seasoned specialty sales division which has been Lundbeck's past presence to our customers.

It means Takeda is about ready to dump Lundbeck. Why do you think our alliance honeymoon with them has been so distanced for months? Shitty patient savings card program, very limited promo marketing materials, no speaker programs since last summer, and their reps have in many territories been marching to the beat of their own drums for "waaaaaay" before COVID folks. If yesterday's announcement on businesswire.com wasn't another wakeup call for everyone, it's time to wake up and smell the stale coffee here.

Not to mention, Otsuka announced on their Town Hall Mtg last month approx 180 open home office and field positions were being evaluated to determine whether or not they would be refilled or eliminated. And their open field territories are being filled with "Rent A READY NOW Rep" which is also a damn joke. This clearly demonstrates all three companies are current belt-tightening and making us a PC sales force starting 7/1.

It's merely Lundbeck's last-ditch effort at determining what the future holds here with two sales teams. Or bluntly stated, it's totally F'd up.

What goes around comes around. You started off calling on primary care now you’re doing it again. You think seeing psych is tough, wait until you try to see a super busy FP whose every patient thinks they have COVID-19!! My own IM has completely stopped all lunches and seeing reps. Most of the time they don’t want samples! Enjoy it while you can, because I would be willing to bet that Lundbeck will go to a contract sales force at some point.

I get the feeling that you think you’re more important than you are. What a joke

Debating what type of rep is the most important is like a swarm of ants having the same discussion.

I have been told that Otsuka and Lundbeck will be pursuing primarily a virtual platform beginning in 2021. Specifics were unclear however the long term plan was to have 80% of Lundbeck and Otsuka interactions via a virtual encounter with providers. This would be accomplished by opening several regional call centers and having only a few regional field representatives. I was shocked but it’s over folks.

Why is vertex leading this? The only names on the list were vertex AM. Anyone heard anything? My ASM knows nothing or not willing to share.
