Coverage is good, they also have co pay cards an samples.
But disease state is small unless you can get doctors to try it in other areas.
More and better indications are on the way (the real reason Otsuka bought Avanir.)
They are also launching a new Migraine drug in Nov.

My doctors say they do not see or treat PBA. Can someone explain to me why we are taking time away from our multi billion dollar product to learn this? If they are keeping Avanirs reps this is utterly retarded!!!!!

I agree. PBA is so rare. It's a joke for most. It's definitely going to be a hard sell.

The Avanir reps were told on Friday that they will No longer call on
    Psychs after July 1st,2015.
    Only Otsuka reps will.
Avanir reps will only call on Neuros.

I have a feeling Avanir and Samsca Hospital will merge.
Blue Team better get used to the fact that we will not receive sales credit for nursing homes.

No, only their retail sales force. (will not call on psychs after July 1st)
Their LTC sales force will continue to call on nursing homes an doctors
that go to nursing homes. If a psych goes to nursing homes a Avanir LTC
    rep will call on him.

Its a good product, it works great for PBA, but problem is doctors say they don't see PBA,
especially the psychs. Hopefully we get the agitation indication soon.

There are a number of published reports indicating that Neudexta offers major benefits (including control of anxiety and other emotional problems) in Alzheimer patients. A quick search that combines Neudexta with Alzheimer will take you to numerous links. And THAT appears to be BIG news. Far bigger than anything related to "pseudo-bulbar affect", a badly-chosen phrase for a neurological problem that is more widespread than most people realize (since it usually drives sufferers into becoming recluses and hermits who don't want anyone except close family and friends to know anything about their peculiar problem).
