Offered a job, Need advice

I was recently offered a job with a local pharmacy to be a sales rep for their compounding lab. They are the leading pharmacy in a small metro area that has a high density of doctors offices, hospitals, etc.... I would be the first person in this position. I don't have Pharm experience, but do have strong sales experience. I would rather not give specifics, but it is a small metro area of around 600,000 people. They are offering $60,000 base salary plus commissions. Unsure of the commission structure right now. What are your opinions?

 

I would sign a non-compete for them.
