I’ve heard a few complaints recently from our friends in the North about the state of affairs and how they’re being just as screwed up my the miinny mafia. One rep told me that there hasn’t been anyone in charge for years and that HQ just recalled their drone (aka managing director). What say you folks, do you have to actually deal with Pumkin Head and Stumpy and does their disasterous leadership stretch across the border? You probably want to build a wall too.

No walls here please. And correct, there’s no boss here but, we’re thinking we may be better off that way.

This company would be better off without those " bosses" up in Minny. Can anyone tell me if they still believe their way is better? If they do, how can they continue to think that way after so many sales people and other employees have left. After the stock has hit such a low. Why doesn't the good old board get rid of these assholes. Fat ass Misiak, the little shit dweeb Rogan and the wannabe Killian have ruined this company and lost so many high quality people. Are these assholes in a vacuum that they don't realize what damage they have done? I need an explanation!

In Canada Patterson still maintains strong presence in Quebec, Ontario is sort of battle ground and the further West lesser becomes.
Schein is number one with about 40% of the market. Patterson is second/third depending on market.
Company plagued with bad management and yes, the drone left (indicated personal reasons). Actually here is the job posting for anyone to apply ))))

The company slightly differs from US, for example there're no regionals, overhead expenses are quite high as they pay their techs pretty good money compared to US (and still less than competition).

We’re a bottom feeder here now. Hiring a star won’t fix the mess the Minny Drone left behind. We’re a small fish that used to be a proud contributor and for the most part no one cares here anymore. The last thing this place needs is another idiot who doesn’t get our business or culture and floats around doing nothing. But then again, they can hire who they want....because no one here cares anymore.

“The Drone” that’s way too funnny. So the new lineup is Pumpkin Head, Stumpy, Fatboy and The Drone who continue to cripple this company on both sides of the border.

    What’s Canada’s fight song?

We get rid of one moron only to backfill the dump with another. Where do they get these losers?

the Drone was a terrible mistake for this company. Really bad decisions that cost us market share and lost opportunity.

He was in way over his head.

  9. Why do the Canadians call their former director a "drone"? I'd never heard that term before so I just asked 'Google'..."What's a drone?"

An unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), commonly known as a drone, is an aircraft without a human pilot aboard. UAVs are a component of an unmanned aircraft system (UAS); which include a UAV, a ground-based controller, and a system of communications between the two. The flight of UAVs may operate with various degrees of autonomy: either under remote control by a human operator or autonomously by onboard computers.[1]

I think that one is more fitting. Pumpkin head sent him to recon and that’s about all. When the batteries ran out on the dunce, he just vanished. Didn’t accomplish sweet FA other than embarrass himself and the company. If they leave it to Minni and pumpkin head to replace this one then it’ll be just another repeat. PD Canada used to lead the way and now twe’re solidly the third place loser. People are great, management team and leadership are truly awful.

Please, Patterson, keep the management group you have, in US and Canada. We like it very much...

    Your competition.

former CA leadership skills notwithstanding. His wife is like dying sick, which is why he left for personal reasons. Doesn’t mean his leadership skills get a pass.....just sayin’

That’s true. We shouldn’t be insensitive to that. On the flip side, he was sent here without any direction either. He would’ve been gone anyways.

Personal things should always be left out of the discussion, sort of. But, when someone comes along as a supposed leader and between him and his bosses make really bad decisions that impacts our pay checks, it actually becomes personal. We lost almost all of our exclusive tech portfolio in the span of about 2 years. They decided to pull the plug on Eaglesoft, we all know what happened to Cerec and we had a great product called Recall Pro that was an exclusive who decided to go to Schein because we were incapable of supporting and marketing the service. Really dumb on so many levels. Between the Drone and the dummies in Minni we took a big hit and it’s doubtful of we’ll recover anytime soon, if ever. All competitors, especially Schein have far better tools.

Canada has no say in such decisions, no matter who is running.
Bottom line is, margins are falling, at same point it will make no sense to operate.
Schein doesn't sell much Cerec in Canada FYI.

Lol, agreed. Let’s keep this thread to discussing how the Minni r*****s can cross a border and actually screw up an adjacent country.

Maybe we should start one that let’s Britain share their disdain too. Pumpkin head’s stupidity should be able to reach across the Atlantic too.

We thought the “Drone” was great. Wherever he came from he had just the right amount of knowledge of our market and was great at everything he did for us.

He made some perfect plays, including letting go people at corporate and in the field which benefited us greatly. He made some key tactical decisions along the way that gave us key wins and helped boost our market share to unexpected levels. Please bring him back!!!

    Yours truly,
    The Competiton.
