So will PC pick up Praluent again? Thought it wasn’t a PC drug? What the heck is Renvala? Used for dialysis patients... yeah, that sounds like PC. What the heck does all this mean? Lastly, what do they consider our “established products”?

Renvella has no sales force...they were laid off last December. Established products are all the generics like plavix, lovenox, Ambien, etc... Most have no sales force .Synvisc is the only one left and that is probably going to be downsized again.

So what your saying is - what Diabetes can learn from established products over the last two years is how to take the DCV primary care to the graveyard? Ok - this sounds promising. Perfect timing after the comments on Monday’s call don’t you think?

Wondering if this email has anything to do with the co-promotion we will have with Lexicon pharmaceuticals in 2019....?

The co-promote is for the SGLT1/2 combo product. That partnership has been around for quite sometime, so no surprise there. They just never mention it.

Not one of the previous six posts suggest any need for a sales force at all. Everybody knows.
Next POA theme is "Drop the Mic!"

I totally agree with you, but then that means they hired this new guy to head up the “new” primary care sale force to be put into place beginning in early 2019 that will consist of ....no one? Now that’s pretty pathetic, even for Sanofi.

Likely a skeleton crew for diab prods and CV will be left alone for now to see what happens with outcomes. Much of the focus of this new org will not be on sales, but on more effective management of the legacy brands.

They can't manage anything. They dissolved the renal sales force and merged a lot them into the synvisc sales force, laying off a lot of the synvisc people. Total chaos ensues of course. They just cancelled their October POA a week in advance pretending nothing's wrong. It's doomed to fail, just a matter of time.

Why do they need salesforce? You've been digitized dear friends. Please turn the light off on the way out

Yep, they cancelled the DC fast finish meeting a week before. Said that they did it because we said in the survey we wanted least busy work .lol .... nevermind all the expense of cancellations, and all the arrangements people made to travel. It's embarrassing how they tried to spin it .
