What do they look for an Oncology Rep? Please serious answers only.

    Nice start to the question.

Most places in oncology space will usually require 2-5 years of previous Hem-Oncology experience just because an established set of relationships(with HCPs and offices/infusion centers) is just a good way to have someone come in ready to roll and not have to spend the first 9-12 months trying to do that.

My guess in the case of a company like Jazz that does not have a huge footprint in Hem-Onc they will be looking for experienced people if they are willing to pay(base from 135K to 160k). If you do not have experience but have documented success in another therapeutic area then you will be considered at a lower salary target range(115k to 125k).

That salary sux. Only unemployed reps will garner interest.

The roles require experience in Hem Onc and salaries are competitive. So is bonus plus options.

Not even close to being competitive. 150-170 base is competitive.

$150k is NOT competitive for experience! $115k is worse than any big pharma specialty salary!
