Any amount of money to ensure Tom's swift departure was well worth it. He engendered so much fear and animosity. Removing him from Amylin was the first step in allowing R&D to begin an overdue healing process. Thank you, CW!

I'm still laughing over this in his bio, "Introduced operational excellence program to Research and Development, saving millions in development cost."

And by firing my sorry ass, I saved the company by bloated, undeserved salary, too!!

Yeah, it's funny. I had heard some slight grumbling before he was fired about him, but not much. But after he was gone - and people were not afraid of him - the stories came out!

I asked someone who worked for him if they were upset that Tom had been let go. The person looked at me, smirked, and said "Are you kidding?" and laughed. With glee, I must add.
