A quote from the article. "MedNet allowed the customers to bill Medicare directly for these same services and retain the reimbursements they received from Medicare, which exceeded the fee that MedNet charged them." So exactly how did MedNet "allow" customers to bill Medicare? Nobody knows what insurance the customer is billing in a FFS order because that information isn't provided. The customers who billed Medicare and did not disclose the FFS rate are the ones at fault and should be made to pay back all payments that exceeded the Medicare allowable. The moral to the story here is that when the Feds want your money they are going to get it

And now they reward this HR nightmare with a promotion. Only at Cardionet

    Gotta love the management

this would be a perfect time to do another one of those engagement surveys that management pays so much attention to although now it might be called an enragement survey

Enjoying the rant - very entertaining.
Just one question: Is CardioKey reimbursed by original (not managed) Medicare or not? One the the posts suggested it was not and I was seeking clarification. Thanks.

Lol. Docs don't give a $hit about patches. You get better ECG with electrodes and they cost less. Waste of time and money.

Keep the Patch dream alive! At least for the stockholders! But Doctor we have the CardioKey it's groundbreaking technology that you mail in. It's really an unbelieveable one lead device scanned on old Holter software. It's the greatest thing that we could have ever thought up. Don't worry the Patch will arrive we just want to make sure that it works properly for YOU Doctor!!!

This is one old thread. started Feb 2014 and still NO patch monitor.
Now that every monitoring company in the world has had a patch monitor most of the year do you think it is time to come out with one? Maybe the one Joe showed on Mad Money?
