Reps are pouring out of OCA like beer flowing on a hot day. Market share is going down the drain as we speak. Everyone is talking with recruiters. Mismanage for over 2 decades and buy inflated “companies” to offset your losses. Todd comes in to turn it around with near impossible challenges after trying to recover from the stock crashing 80% from the financial scandal of 2011. The worst scandal of Japan’s history which says a lot considering their history of corrupt corporate culture. Olympus is a battered ship and there’s no idea how much more beating it can take. Todd’s obviously made his business plan (with Japan’s approval) to push reps far beyond what’s possible while drastically cutting their income potential. Of course at every new year it’s a new pay plan with a new impossible sell and spin to hide the reality. It’s an enormously challenging and risky task for the company. When Todd (and OCA) fails he will move on with 3-5 years of “progress” on his resume and huge amounts of cash and stock. I’m sure he already has his pitch down for his next interviews. Sad state of affairs folks.
