    Let's compare notes!

Rumor mill list of pioneer sites (I heard there were 11)
    1. West PA
    2. Florida
    3. Washington
    4. DC/Maryland
    5. North CA
    6. Ohio
    7. Michigan
    8. LA/MS
    9. Southeast TX
    10. Colorado
    11. Boston/Maine
    Other tidbits:

Announcements to be made next week (known) - also heard that placement notifications will be made next week

Everyone will have to interview for the new roles in the ecosystem. If a pioneer ecosystem is in your area and your are "placed" into a role but do not receive a new job title and/or "expanded" responsibilities, then your placement is temporary until the full implementation next year (speaking to you Ocre).

Florida is an obvious one. They're going to give that to a home office person.

Yep- this looks correct. Another poorly kept secret from our fearless Genentech leaders.

Florida and Texas are full already with 'pre-placed' home office SSF mid level managers...sorry field.

I heard Hawaii is an ecosystem that will be fully staffed with our SSF senior leadership with relocation package.

Yes, if your entire geography is within the new 11 Ecosystems, then you will be displaced this year.

There are a couple of Squads who will be "phasing" in over the next year, so those people will not be impacted yet. For example MS and Lucentis might do this.

The Ecosystems will go national to all areas by middle of 2020. Most layoffs will happen then.

Everything I've heard says that Boston will NOT be a Pioneer Ecosystem (stupid fucking name-yes). Heard nothing north of Philly, just rumors though.

    Good luck people.

I have not seen the below 3 but they could have been added. It is changing all the time.
    1. Southeast TX
    2. Colorado
    3. Boston/Maine
But the rest I can confirm are on the list. The 4 currently underway are also on the list.

Now is a good time to plan your exit and if you are on the list maybe wait for your package since it will happen this year.

Late SSF meeting. The “pioneers” are 60% accurate.

Ever hear that pioneers take the arrows? What an idiotic title in corporate America but absolutely accurate. Our accounts can't wait to take us down.
