Anyone know if this territory is vacant due to past rep quitting or being fired or if this is expansion? And how long was the previous rep in territory? Thanks for honest answer...
I doubt if anyone in the contrast media business is expanding territories; I expect that they will continue to reduce the number of territories as the margins in the business continue to fall. Remember, this is a product that sold for $1/mL in 1986 and today sells for about 10-15c/mL and that volume of product sold probably hasn't materially changed in the last five years or so as probably everybody uses nonionic contrast media.
