    It's Christmas, F*ckers.

Yeah, no. They aren’t going to stop. I would have thought Krampus would have come for SK by now, but my hopes are dashed. Is it true that VPs are walking around complaining about missed (insane) revenue targets and so nobody’s getting a bonus for this year?

The VPs and SK will get a bonus, the staff will not.

What we will get is tired from too much work, more abuse from the supervisors and best of all we get to hear management tell us how bad we suck because we did not hit some impossible goal.

Well, duh. Of course they get payouts. What they lack in intelligence, vision and people skills they more than make up for with their totally awesome intimidation routines, their inability to lead and their lying skills (keeping a straight face while everyone in the room knows you're full of shit isn't easy, you know). Big bucks for big schmucks!

Start the new year out right.

QUIT! Vote with your feet and walk out.

There are lots of other CROs to work at, big pharma is another option if you have talent and experience. Otherwise stay at ACLAMPIE and shut your pie hole.

What a piece of crap company. Ares Capital has got to be ashamed of this POS. I know they bought it with a ton of other investments, why they hang onto it is beyond belief.

Maybe they are having a tough time finding buyers. The shit reputation that this company has might affect the sale price and ultimately the shareholders' payouts. Anyone doing due diligence on this company should absolutely compare the piles of bullshit management tries to hand them with what is actually taking place at the sites. And talking to ex-inmates of this pharma prison would definitely be different than what the snake oil salesmen in management are pitching.
Customers are beginning to see the light with all the defections. The FDA will also take note.

I am sure that you are right when you say the company is difficult to sell.

Old buildings, old equipment, poor quality and poor management makes it tough to sell anything especially a CROs because they rely on their reputation and on their client base. The only clients A-CLAM-EYE gets are the ones who are unable to go to a decent CMO/CRO due to timing or cost.

This company has always struggled and has always been strapped for cash to enhance the business. Starting with Pat this situation was further exacerbated and degraded by his making the business a "commodity" enterprise that primarily focused on small molecule, microbiology and raw material testing. By forsaking the high dollar biotechnology side of the business PW screwed us royally. Why? So he could get a payday from the merger with CM.

SK has only made the situation worse, small minds think alike. BTW, BJs in the parking lot don't qualify as "deliverables" unless it is the client, rather than SK, who is the recipient.

You obviously missed the North Korean inspired on-boarding video featuring the Alcami "management" team. (Don't forget to read the awe inspiring SK self help book, "How to Scream and Bully Your Way to Success.) This company apparently exists for the good of all mankind. The latest lines of bullshit involve us being "all the way back" from those bygone days when potential customers laughed in our faces. If the idiots in charge could stop micromanaging for just one moment, put down the whips, they could see what a joke that is. Obviously, they are not hearing what the customers are saying.
I always thought BJU was Bob Jones University. Has Alcami opened a branch campus?

YOU sir are a disloyal employee!

A-CLAM-PIE is an outstanding company with excellent management.

Just ask SK or TD or SC. They will take a moment away from counting their bonus $ and BJs to tell you that A-CLAM-EYE is not a POS

You obviously did not read the mission statement:

"A-CLAM-PIE is a fourth-class contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) with executive offices in Wilmington and Durham, North Carolina. A-CLAM-PIE is the first company to offer a solution that is liquid and tailored to ruin small and mid-size pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, offering a range of poorly performed services. Beyond that, we can overcharge for our services so customers experience a simplified screwing with a single incompetent management relationship. With over 1,000 disgruntled employees sabotaging projects at nine global locations your program is doomed right from the start. A-CLAM-PIE offers a rear end reaming opportunity that can be integrated for a less cost-effective pathway for defective products through failure in the clinic and recalls in commercialization."

Loyalty means I am still here, slogging along. Comfortably numb.
It IS NOT a bonus, it is "profit SHARING". Sheesh, you have to earn your profit sharing. Still trying to figure out what to do with the literally hundreds of dollars I might get.
This is barely a standing company. As the exodus continues fewer and fewer are left to hold up the terrifying, er terrific, management team.

The numbers are in! Will we? Won't we? who gives a shit anymore! The clusteryouknowwhat is OK!

Morale (and morals) lower than an ant's belly! Cheer up! Fester and the site goon squads are here to tell you how well you are doing, shake your hand and act like they have this.

First there has to be a profit if allclammy is going to do "profit sharing". Most years the business makes very little, breaks even or loses money. After expenses and bonuses for the executives there won't be anything for the worker bees. Usually one group does well but they will be told that even though they had a great year the company as a whole did not hit the targets so no one gets a bonus (except the bosses). Same old same old.

    Happy new year. BOHICA

You win a cookie! You would think they would take the MILLIONS they saved not replacing the fortunate ones who left to those of us who remain. That would be some very serious sharing. It's not like the work didn't get passed off to us anyway. Crazy talk, I know.
