    You have 4 products that you sell in your bag. How does the company determine your RANK?

    so, these idiotic companies usually us weight percentages per product to determine this.
    its stupid because in this industry, sales results are not accurate for too many reasons to list.

    this has become a promotional job for the most part, with C students, heavy beer drinkers, druggies, hookers, and cheerleaders running organizations.

    But a rep in ie. rural Alabama could never beat a rep in ie. a big city in product scripts because of the sheer number of patients/people in a city compared to the country. Same thing if it goes by total dollar value of territory. If its by percentage increase over the previous year then the rep who sold 2 scripts last year and doubled their scripts to 4 this years is ranked higher than the rep who sold 500 scripts last year and only 590 in the current year.

    In job interviews the questions of how you are ranked is never asked. They just want to see your rankings and my point is they definitely do not tell the story.
