Just reflecting back. has anyone ever seen a company go under as fast as Advogent did once Platinum Equities took it over?

Once the key sales and operations people started to leave at the end of Cardinal Health's ownership and Platinum Equities beginning, and Advogent management cut the salary and bonus for these people, the ship went down. Platinum brought in people who did not understand the business and how relationship selling worked. They got rid of the good people that LePore and Freeman put in place because they were making (understandibly) a lot of money and left the losers who did not have a clue. Look at the people who were left at the end...all clueless starting with DeSimone on down. He was a bean counter, not a salesperson and not an ops person yet he was the leader. Instead of trying to build the business, their objective was to plug the holes in the ship for status quo which they could not do. I agree with you, I have never seen a company go down this fast.
